The LTDA concept was born in 2019. It began as a drivers' welfare group under the name Umoja Drivers, evolved into East Africa Transporters (EAT), then Amicable Transporters, and finally became the Local & Transit Drivers Association — LTDA.
The Association incorporates transit & local drivers and logistics managers. For over five years we've provided a vital link for Kenyan businesses — and the wider East & Central Africa region — that require transportation of consignments, built on professional service, competitive pricing and a large network.
With the quality of service rendered since inception, we've become one of the most preferred transporters in East and Central Africa, with a growing national presence of more than 100 trucks.
To build customer satisfaction by providing high quality, cost-competitive transport services, while we empower and catalyse growth for our drivers through job creation, training, and business networking.
To be the leading logistics association in East and Central Africa — trusted equally by the businesses we serve and the drivers who carry us there.
Conducting business with honesty and transparency, at every stage of the journey.
Continuously seeking new ways to improve our services and operations.
Prioritising satisfaction with personalised, responsive service.
Promoting environmental responsibility across all of our operations.
A willingness to take responsibility for our operations, always.
Every person matters to us — we are all equal in this association.
Whether you're a business that needs cargo moved or a driver looking for a home, LTDA has a seat for you.
